MOAS Space Day

Date:
4/15/2017 at 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Event Description

Join us for our 3rd annual MOAS Space Day, where we celebrate all things space in an engaging and interactive environment. You will learn about the science, exploration, and beauty of space through exciting lectures, shows in our main planetarium and blow-up planetarium, and hands-on activities. This year’s event is extra special with the addition of our new space exhibit, NASA Innovations: How Space Technology Shapes our Everyday World, that celebrates NASA spinoffs with real space flown artifacts from the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Throughout the Museum, there will also be displays from ERAU’s ERFSEDS Rocket Club, Commercial Space Operations Student Organization, and the Amateur Astronomy Club. We cannot wait to see you for this out-of-this-world event.

Free for members or future members pay $6.00 for adults, $3.00 for children (6-17), and free for children 5 and under. Tickets for the Planetarium presentations are included with admission and on a first-come-first-served basis.
