Meet us at Gamble Place in Port Orange. The Spanish American War in 1898 caused wide spread panic throughout Florida. The state became the staging ground for a U.S. led invasion of Cuba. Join Senior Curator of Education and History, James "Zach" Zacharias, and learn about how this short war with Spain caused chaos in preparation for war.
