At the turn of the century James Gamble, of the Proctor and Gamble Company, bought 175 acre on Spruce Creek in what is now Port Orange. Today this land is a nature preserve and historic treasure of old Florida charm. Take a step back in time with guides in period dress for a tour of the Cracker style cottage built as Mr. Gamble’s hunting lodge, the Citrus Packing house, and the Snow White Cottage, a replica of the cottage seen in the Disney film complete with Witch’s Hut and Dwarfs’ Mine Shaft. An Eco-History pontoon boat tour on Spruce Creek will follow the house tours. Then relax on the porch and enjoy an authentic Low Country Boil served as it would have been for one of Mr. Gamble’s afternoon picnics. This exclusive MOAS tour includes guides in period dress, transport trams on the grounds between sites, hour long narrated pontoon Eco-History tour on, and authentic Low Country Boil. Cash bar available. Space Limited.
