Event Description

It's Our Birthday! Set your calendars back to 1971 and join us at the Museum of Arts & Sciences to celebrate 50 years of being at our current Nova Road location. Enjoy tours of Tuscawilla Nature Preserve, 1970s-themed Live "The Sky Tonight" Shows and Laser Rock Concerts in the Lohman Planetarium, food from JD's Pop-Up Kitchen and Churros and Cream food trucks, and music by DJ Jukebox Bully. Become part of MOAS history by signing our memory wall! Groovy 70s attire is welcomed! 

Free for members or with paid museum admission.

Planetarium Shows

Live "That 70s Star Show" - To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the MOAS campus, we will rewind the clock back and gaze at the night sky on July 25, 1971. We will then take a look at the significant celestial and spaceflight events that occurred that year and beyond.
