Florida has had a long history of important modes of transportation that have opened the state up to development. From the Old Kings Highway, steam boating on the St. John's River, and the interstate highway system, these infrastructural changes moved Florida from a frontier state to one of the most important. Join MOAS Senior Curator of Education and History, Zach Zacharias at Gamble Place in Port Orange to learn about the history of Florida through its unique modes of transportation.
