Event Description

Florida, long viewed as a land of endless opportunity, attracted many individuals and groups looking to create a utopian society. Each utopian society had its own version and goals with some coming to find religious freedom and others economic. Florida was full of Utopian Societies dating back to its earliest European historical roots. Join Senior Curator of Education and History, Zach Zacharias at Gamble Place in Port Orange to learn about different attempts to create a utopian society, many in Northeast Florida. 

Space is limited, and advanced registration is required by calling the Museum at 386-255-0285.

Admission: Free for members, $5.00 for future members.
