Bring your furry friends for an unforgettable celebration featuring dog-themed planetarium shows (5pm, 6pm &amp; 7pm), telescope viewing at sunset, and a pet photo op. Browse vendors including local pet services and meet adoptable dogs from the  Halifax Humane Society . Outside, enjoy food trucks, yard games, live DJ, and show off your pet's best costume in our Pet Costume Contest and Parade. All pets and their people welcome!  5:00pm Planetarium Show:  From Earth to the Universe  \n The night sky, both beautiful and mysterious, has been the subject of campfire stories, ancient myths and awe for as long as there have been people. A desire to comprehend the universe may well be humanity's oldest shared intellectual experience. Yet only recently have we truly begun to grasp our place in the vast cosmos. To learn about the journey of celestial discovery, from the theories of the ancient Greek astronomers to today's grandest telescopes, we invite you to experience this show.  \n  Click Here to Register Online  \n  6:00pm Planetarium Show: Howl at the Moon \n Explore the Moon, and other objects in the Fall and Winter sky, as well as the celestial constellations associated with dogs and wolves.
