Bourbon & Blueprints is a signature Nova Society evening that invites members into the architectural thinking shaping the future of The Brown. With a speakeasy-inspired vibe, the event blends design, bourbon, and social energy—creating a night that feels thoughtful, stylish, and unmistakably fun.
The evening begins with an exclusive VIP Sponsor Hour at 6:00 PM, reserved for sponsors at the $2,500 level and above. During this private hour, guests will take part in a moderated discussion with the Museum’s architects, offering rare insider access to the design journey. This behind-the-scenes conversation will reveal concepts that were explored, debated, and ultimately set aside—providing a candid look at the creative risks, decision-making, and evolution that led to the final vision for the Museum’s future.
At 7:00 PM, doors open to all guests and the evening transitions into a high-energy, after-hours experience. Multiple bourbon tasting stations and thoughtfully paired food offerings invite guests to move throughout the space, while lively music inside and outside sets the tone for a social, Friday-night-out atmosphere. Designed for mingling, conversation, and connection, the night is ideal for those looking to unwind, enjoy great flavors, and experience the Museum in a fresh, unexpected way.
The dress theme, Blue + Prints, is a playful nod to architectural plans and patterns. Think a blue dress with geometric shapes, a blue suit paired with a patterned shirt or bold paisley tie, or any creative mix of blue and print that lets your personal style shine.
Silent Auction: Opens online one week prior for event sponsors and concludes during the event
