SOLD OUT - The United States, Germany, and World War II Propaganda with Stetson Professor, Dr. Kurlander

Date:
1/13/2024 at 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Event Description

"In recent years historians have begun to examine Hitler and the Third Reich's fascination with the United States, especially its history of western expansion and racial segregation. Americans were paying close attention to the Third Reich as well, from its early antisemitic legislation through the Holocaust, making various efforts to facilitate Jewish emigration or resettlement outside Europe. This lecture will examine these entangled histories, highlighting the ways that American policies influenced but also constrained Nazi efforts to "solve" the "Jewish Question" in genocidal fashion." Seating is limited. Advanced RSVP is required by visiting MOAS.org or by calling the Museum at 386-255-0285.

$6.00 for members, $12.00 for non-members.
