We look forward to your visit! Current exhibitions and open galleries include the new Helene B. Roberson Visible Storage Building, Charles and Linda Williams Children’s Museum, the Root Family Museum, the Dow Gallery of American Art, the Schulte Gallery of Chinese Art, the Bouchelle Gallery of International Decorative Arts, The Cuban Foundation Museum Collection, and the Ford gallery which features changing exhibitions, and The Bouchelle Gallery of Changing Exhibitions which currently features our Giant Ground Sloth. In addition, the nature trails in Tuscawilla Park as well as The Kim A. Klancke, MD and Marsha L. Klancke Environmental Education Complex is open, along with the Abraham and Dorothy Frischer Sculputure Garden. Planetarium is open daily. Click here for schedule of Planetarium shows.
Due to damage in May 2009 from heavy flooding in the Daytona Beach area the museum has temporarilty closed the Center for Florida History, however, the Giant Ground Sloth is back on display as of May 1, 2011, in the Bouchelle Gallery of Changing Exhibitions.
The Museum is closed Mondays.
Free First Tuesdays - The first Tuesday of each month, MOAS offers free admission (planetarium not included) to Volusia County residents with proof of residency, such as driver's license, library card, or utility bill.

Planetarium shows are included with Museum admission. Planetarium seating subject to availability.
Please note there is no photography allowed in the Museum, except in the Children's Museum and of the Giant Ground Sloth.
Embry Riddle Aeronautical University & University of Central Florida students receive free general admission to the Museum with Student/Faculty/Staff ID. Free admission does not apply to Second Saturday Laser Rock Concerts, special events or ticketed exhibitions.

MOAS is proud to participate in Blue Star Museums for a third year. Free admission is offered to all active duty military personnel and their families (military ID holder and up to five family members) from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2013 (May 28 through September 1, 2013; MOAS is closed Mondays.) GROUP PAYMENT
There is no cost to make a reservation. Payment can be made in full on the day of the visit. Upon arrival, payment must be made by one person for the entire group.
Reciprocal benefits do not apply to group tours.
Group tour operators and bus drivers may enjoy the tour free of charge.
The following forms of payment are acceptable: VISA, MasterCard, checks, money orders, or cash.

GUIDED TOURS are available at no additional cost.
PLANETARIUM shows are available to groups at no additional cost. The theater holds 96 people and reservations must be made and confirmed prior to your group visit to ensure there will be adequate space. More information is available on specific shows by calling 386-255-0285.
Gourmet boxed lunches are available to your group for $10.95 per lunch. Gourmet boxed lunch includes choice of fresh deli sandwich or salad made by Heavenly Ham, one side dish of Tropical Fruit Salad, large fresh baked Chocolate Chip Cookie and beverage. Lunches must be ordered and paid for no later than two days prior to your visit.

PARKING is free to all visitors and bus parking is available.
MOAS is fully accessible by wheelchair. The Klancke Environmental Preserve and boardwalks are also wheelchair accessible. The audio stations and Braille signs make the preserve accessible to the visually impaired.
