The annual Summer Learning Institute focuses on art, science, and history, with many integrated learning experiences for our students. All classes are taught by education professionals with many years of teaching experience. The Cici & Hyatt Brown Museum of Art, Science & History provides interactive and engaging experiences for each of our Summer Learning Institute students.

Summer Student Volunteers Needed
The Education Department is seeking enthusiastic summer volunteers to support classroom instructors with supervising children ages 5–13, assisting with class projects, and helping with general clean‑up.
This is a temporary volunteer role open to students ages 14 and older and offers a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience while earning required high school volunteer hours.

Summer Internships Available
The Brown is seeking three to four summer interns to support this year’s Summer Learning Institute, hosted on the campus of Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University.
These are unpaid internships for applicants 18 and older who have a strong interest in education, the sciences, and inspiring the next generation of learners.
