The Cici & Hyatt Brown Museum of Art, Science & History is the primary art, science, and history museum in Central Florida. The area's largest museum, The Brown is nationally accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and is a Smithsonian Institute Affiliate. Chartered by the State of Florida over 50 years ago, The Brown has a legacy of providing our community with the finest in art, science, and history.

During this transformative period, The Brown is reimagining its entire campus through the Crown Jewel Campaign—a once-in-a-generation transformation that will expand our reach, enhance our exhibits, and secure our role as a cornerstone of arts, science, and history in Central Florida.

While our physical campus is closed to daily public admission as we undergo this bold transformation, The Brown continues to serve our community through our Museum in Motion program, bringing hands-on learning and engaging educational experiences directly to schools, libraries, and community events throughout the region.

Our transformation centers on four key priorities:

• Building a landmark new facility that will serve as an iconic beacon for cultural enrichment
• Renovating and repurposing existing galleries to create revitalized spaces for learning and discovery
• Creating a unified, walkable campus that offers a seamless visitor experience
• Reimagining The Brown's identity around innovation, discovery, and connection
