Ever wonder about the origins of the modern museum? Or what sparked the ever-growing desire to collect objects and oddities from around the world? Join Museum Registrar Stephanie Shaw in Root Hall at the Museum of Arts & Sciences as she steps on her soapbox to talk about the exciting history of museum collections. Enjoy a conversation discussing the cabinet of curiosities, also known in German as “Wunderkammer” or “room of wonder.”
