Coral Chronicles: The Classics (Small Polyp & Large Polyp Stony Corals)

Date:
6/12/2024 at 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Event Description

Corals colloquially are divided into two main categories: stony corals and soft corals; with the most iconic of these being the reef-building stony corals. Join MOAS Interpretation Specialist, John Herman in the Bouchelle Changing Gallery within the Tide Pool exhibit for this coral chronicles series as we dive into what makes these reef-building corals special, and why they’re so critical to the success of the marine reef environment.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged as space is limited. If registration is full, please call the Museum at 386-255-0285 to be placed on a waitlist with the potential for another time to be scheduled.
