CANCELED - Hiawatha Florida History Hour | Florida Heritage Extravaganza

Date:
12/13/2024 at 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Event Description

Join us on the Hiawatha at the Museum of Arts & Sciences for a presentation with a potpourri of Florida history stories from Spanish Florida to the 1970’s. Florida has an immense history with so many interesting characters, places, natural wonders, and a vast unique culture. Join Senior Curator of Education and History J. Zach Zacharias as he creates his own Florida Heritage Trail through the centuries. Focusing on lesser known but important historic events the hope is to give a sense of place and fascination with our history.

Enjoy a selection of adult beverages and snacks after the program.

Space is limited. RSVP online at MOAS.org or by calling the Museum at 386-255-0285.
