Event Description

Join Senior Curator of Education, Zach Zacharias, in the Root Family Museum Train Station for this fun and exciting program.

Join us on us on the Hiawatha for an entertaining talk featuring many of the famously peculiar people found in Florida's history and their crazy ideas and plots to make a fortune! Learn about Napoleon Bonaparte’s nephew Prince Achille Murat as he made Florida his permanent home after he was exiled from France; crazy cracker cowboy Bone Mizell; soldier of fortune William Augustus Bowles; Denys Rolle of Rolles Town and many more!

Enjoy a selection of adult beverages and snacks after the program.
