International Observe the Moon Night

Date:
10/16/2021 at 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Event Description

Let's celebrate Earth's natural satellite, the Moon, during International Observe the Moon Night outside in the MOAS Entry Courtyard. We will have telescopes set up to observe the Moon and other prominent objects up close, along with live outdoor sky tours held periodically throughout the evening. Also, join us inside the Lohman Planetarium for special shows about the Moon and the night sky.

The outdoor portion of the event is free and is weather permitting. Lohman Planetarium shows are free for members, $5.00 per show for future members, and free for children 5 and under.

Parking is limited. Planetarium shows have limited seating and are first-come, first-served.
