James Webb Space Telescope 1 Year Anniversary

Event Description

Join us in the Lohman Planetarium as we look back on the first year of images from the revolutionary James Webb Space Telescope. At 2:00pm we will start with a live “Unfolding the Universe” show with MOAS Curator of Science Seth Mayo who will survey the breathtaking views of towering nebulae and ancient galaxies spotted by the telescope over the past year, as well as the very latest images. At 3:00pm ERAU Astrophysics Professor Dr. Ted von Hippel will share his expertise with us followed by a special tour of the “Unfolding the Universe: The James Webb Space Telescope” exhibit in the Ford Gallery.

Free for members or with paid museum admission. Reservations are recommended as seating is limited to 90 per show.
