Renaissance Society Preview: 100 Faces of War

Event Description

The Museum invites our MOAS Renaissance Society members to enjoy an exclusive preview of the new traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian Institution, with local funding for this program provided through a grant from the Florida Humanities Council with funds from the National Endowment for the Humanities, 100 Faces of War. American portrait painter, Matt Mitchell, showcases the Iraq and Afghanistan wars through these 100 portraits of those who served in the military. Enjoy remarks from artist Matt Mitchell, along with an open bar and light hors d'oeuvres throughout the evening.
