We loved having our wedding at the Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum. Doris was very responsive to all my inquiries and on the day of setup the staff was very accommodating to my Coordinator. All of our guests said how awesome this venue was to have our ceremony at. I would highly recommend the museum to anyone looking for a unique venue.

We absolutely loved having our daughter’s birthday party at the MOAS! Not only did we have a designated room right in the children’s area but were able to get into it prior to the party time to decorate. There was plenty of room for all my daughter’s friends, party food, cake, and gifts (plus their parents). Kids could eat, go play in the children’s museum, and come back to the room for gifts and cake! Everyone, kids, and adults, enjoyed the Pop Laser Show during a private showing. It had great music for all ages! Everyone commented on what a great party it was and loved their time there. We highly recommend having your next birthday party at MOAS. We’ve hosted parties at many venues around town and MOAS was by far our absolute favorite! Thank you to MOAS for a wonderful day and memorable birthday party!”

I am so glad that we made the decision to have our wedding at the Museum of Arts and Sciences. We decided to have our wedding in the planetarium and then right after the ceremony have the reception in the train station. There was nothing negative about the entire experience! Our wedding was wonderful, and everything went as planned. The staff was great as well!

This venue was everything we were looking for. The natural beauty of the museum was a huge selling point and made our decorating go so smoothly. I recently had both my rehearsal dinner and ceremony/reception with the MOAS and I could not have chosen a better place! Doris the venue coordinator is a complete gem and a wonderfully attentive and kind person who helped through every step of the way. The venue was beyond my husband and my dream and offered us the chance to get married among the art in their permanent gallery which was breathtaking. We are so pleased with the entire experience and cannot recommend it enough. You also cannot beat the price, while venue was one of the most important aspects to us, the Cici and Hyatt Brown Art Museum offered everything we were looking for and did so at a budget friendly price! They made sure our special day was perfect!

I knew going into wedding planning that I wanted a venue that wasn't the typical barn style that is popular. We searched and toured so many different places that were all unique in their own ways, but the Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art just stuck with us after we toured it the first time. MOAS is really two separate buildings and both are amazingly beautiful and have so much character and uniqueness in themselves. You would never think of having your wedding inside of a museum, but once you see it you will not think of anywhere else!! The staircase is so beautiful (and easy to walk up and down on), and how can you be mad being surrounded by amazing art pieces that also make your pictures that much more special. Also, this venue is soooo affordable and you barely have to decorate because it's a museum and has art all over!!! Doris was our event coordinator, and she was amazing as well. She quickly responded to my millions of questions and emails and helped make the process painless and stress free. I wish I could relive our day over and over again and could not be happier with our venue choice!!

My husband and I were married here in February 2022 and it was an absolute DREAM! We fell in love with this venue from our very first walk through and it was everything we had hoped plus more on our big day. We had the pleasure of working with Doris who I believe is the event/rental manager for the whole museum and she was so awesome and made everything so easy for us. She was also in touch whenever we needed and gave us great insight whenever we had questions. We had so many compliments on our venue and I can't help but smile every time I reflect back on every moment. This venue was also much more affordable than other venues we toured. I would recommend this venue and working with Doris to everyone I know!

The venue was spectacular. Everything my daughter dreamed of and then some. Museum staff, particularly Doris Strnad, guided us through the process, made great suggestions and then delivered. When I say the night was magical, I mean it. We were so thrilled we picked this venue. The Museum is a showplace in itself. Our guests were amazed with the art and it served as a showplace for our community.

We were drawn to the MOAS as a venue simply for the fact that it was different from every other wedding venue we looked at. On top of which, the museum has so many options to choose from. You can even use the Planetarium as a ceremony space, which we considered for a brief moment. The price tag was also within our budget, and we got more bang for our buck. We got engaged during the height of the pandemic, so flexibility was another key factor, and the museum was very flexible in regards to that, though we never switched dates. Having a live band was the most important thing to us, so we were also looking for venues that had space for a band, and would allow a live band (some places do not). We also wanted our wedding to be a unique experience that spoke to who we are as a couple and the MOAS was that place for us. We even found our photographer through the MOAS, and she was incredible! Highly highly recommend.

Getting married at the Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art was absolutely perfect. The art that surrounded us was amazing PLUS we didn't have to focus on extra decor - win/win. Our guests really enjoyed walking around the galleries during cocktail hour and we loved having it all in one space. Choosing indoors in FL was wise because we had an absolute monsoon the day before - even though it was in November, you never know with our weather. It was extremely cold so our guests didn't go outside but that’s alright because again, our venue was all set up and it made it super easy to pivot the game plan the day of. I cannot recommend this venue enough- excellent staff which helped a bunch along the way (letting us stop in and show our parents around a few times haha) and our photos are just perfect. They even shut down the museum at 4:00 pm so we could have our ceremony at 4:30 pm! So awesome. Thank you, MOAS for your part in making our day so special!

I wanted my son's first birthday to be memorable and unique, so that is what brought me to the Museum of Arts & Sciences in Daytona Beach, Florida. His theme was Dinosaur Train, so the trains at the Root Station fit perfectly with the vision. Everyone I encountered there was very nice and professional. Doris was my main point of contact. She went above and beyond to make sure the day was perfect. If you want your event to be memorable, I would highly recommend the Museum of Arts & Sciences.

From the very first time we met to tour the venue, Doris was courteous, kind, flexible, and professional. This museum is a stunning venue. All of the guests who attended my wedding were in awe of the beauty. With this venue, you barely need any decoration because it has so much character and beauty already! It’s also the best price around! Everyone is nice! My now husband and I are so glad we chose to have our wedding at the Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art! We chose the venue because we wanted to have both our ceremony and reception indoors due to unpredictable FL weather, and thought the museum was a unique and beautiful place to have a wedding. The museum is elegant and private and includes spaces for the bridal party to get ready before the wedding. We received multiple compliments on our venue choice and enjoyed a night we will never forget. A bonus was working with Tori the rental manager- she is friendly, very professional, and kept us updated during crazy COVID wedding planning! Choose Daytona MOAS as your venue, you won’t regret it!

Wow- could not have chosen a better venue. Tori, the main event coordinator is beyond helpful, and on her A-game at all times. She is incredibly knowledgeable, flexible, and will help you build the perfect event. The museum has a variety of packages designed to fit your exact wedding needs, and are within a very reasonable budget. Tori went so far as to coordinate with all of our wedding vendors so we didn't even have to be involved in all of the planning which was just another added bonus. 10/10 would use again, and would not hesitate to recommend this outstanding service to a friend. Exceeded all expectations.

The Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art was the perfect venue choice for our wedding! The indoor and outdoor spaces were the perfect size and provided a beautiful reception setting for both our outdoor cocktail hour and formal reception inside. The rental manager was so responsive, organized, and attentive to every detail throughout the planning process, especially considering we were planning our wedding from out of state. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and really enjoyed the chance to view the art during the cocktail hour. I would definitely recommend the Museum to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

We searched to have a wedding at a unique and fun venue and boy did we get it. The venue was fantastic and we had so much fun. We rented the Lohman Planetarium for the ceremony and the Train Station for our reception. The feedback we heard from our guests was the same thing over and over, either "best wedding ever" or "this was the most fun wedding I have been to". Go take a tour and see if you like the venue. The support staff at MOAS is fantastic, so if you like the place, then definitely book your day there!

When we were planning our wedding, we had a few tough factors to deal with: a wedding in another state from where we live, 5 months to plan it, a non-religious setting, only 23 guests. The Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach ended up being more perfect than we could have ever imagined. Yes, "more perfect" is a thing, especially at MOAS.
MOAS has tons of gorgeous options throughout the museum for your ceremony and reception that can hold as little as 20 guests and up to 250. We decided to have our ceremony in the planetarium and reception in the train station of the Root Family Museum. Seth Mayo is Curator of Astronomy and he designed the most romantic, stunning, and sentimental ceremony show for us! Our wedding started with a show of the night sky on important dates like the days we were born, the day we met, our first date, and when we got engaged. As I walked down the aisle the room was illuminated by falling stars, during our ceremony, there was a huge full moon behind us, and at the end, there was an animation of 2 galaxies combining to represent our families coming together. All we had to do was send Seth our dates and music, and he made it the magic happen!
Tori Carta with the museum was beyond helpful. She understood that we could only make a couple of in-person visits before the wedding, so she came to every meeting extremely prepared and was available via email or phone the entire time. Her communication was impeccable, which meant no day-of or post-wedding "surprises" like additional billing. She was there for my entire wedding, from dressing room prep to photos, to ceremony, to reception, and clean-up. We didn't know any local food or photography vendors but that was no problem. Tori gave us a full list of preferred vendors and then her personal recommendations. The Museum also provides alcohol for you from some GREAT distributors! Not your typical Bud Lite/Miller Lite/Yuengling choices (although those are available too), but local craft IPAs and imported stouts. And the pricing on their bar packages can't be beaten.
I can't recommend this venue enough. Tori and Seth were not only helpful but so kind and enthusiastic that it felt like they were our friends throwing this wedding for us. Whenever I looked to them at any point during the wedding, they were smiling huge too just like our families and friends. The guests that came and the people that have seen the photos all say "this was the most memorable wedding I've ever seen" or "I didn't know you could get married in a planetarium" or simply "too cool!". From the outside, it looked like a million bucks with a million hours of planning/stress. But trust me when I say this wedding was so easy, so affordable, and more perfect than we imagined.

I recently had my wedding at the Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art which is the Florida art section of the Museum of Arts & Sciences. The building is something to behold and our guests are still raving about it. I have no complaints whatsoever. Tori, the venue coordinator, went above and beyond to ensure that the day was perfect for my husband and me and the venue is beautiful and elegant and worth every single penny we spent there. If you are looking for a unique, intimate, elegant atmosphere, this is the place to see!

The Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art is very special to our family for many different reasons! It was an option for our wedding location but we were not set on the idea, as we had never imagined getting married in a museum. The museum tells Florida history through beautiful works of art, and being a 6th generation Floridian myself and now married to the ultimate "Floridian" we fell in love with the museum emphasizing all things Florida, to her moss-draped oaks and her beautiful ocean blues. Our minds were made up as soon as we met the museum's event planner, Tori Carta. From the get-go she was professional, all while pouring her love into our special day as if it was her own. Our family faced devastating trials and losses leading up to our wedding leaving us weary and leaning more on Tori. Tori continued to not only pour herself into our wedding but into our family. Tori stood with us through the mix of overwhelming sadness and the joy of planning a wedding. Her commitment to us and our special day is a testimony to why you should consider getting married at the museum. Our wedding was absolute perfection made by the museum's artwork, architecture, and the love poured into every detail.

We got married at the MOAS March 3rd and it was AMAZING. Tori was wonderful to work with, answering any questions we had, keeping us up to date throughout the planning months, and being there every step of the way from day one of checking out the venue to the day of coordinating everything to run perfectly.
We did our ceremony in the planetarium and Seth and staff were awesome. They were so passionate and accommodating with every request we had. We had a Star Wars theme and Seth went above and beyond to make our ceremony unique and fun, everyone loved it.
The museum itself is beautiful for a wedding. Our guests were able to go through the Root Family museum during cocktail hour and we got to use the entire museum grounds for wedding pictures which was great. MOAS was our dream venue and we're still getting complimented on how beautiful it was.

First of all, let me just say that this wedding was planned in four months but looked like it took over a year of planning. The museum was absolutely incredible. Tori made my life so much easier and was always there to give advice, answer emails, and connect with all of our other vendors. The actual venue was beautiful and everything I had imagined. You can’t get a better space to get married than on a huge staircase surrounded by beautiful works of Florida art. Our wedding photos came out awesome because of the unique art exhibits and wonderful lighting throughout. I can not express how happy I am with our wedding being at the Museum of Arts and Sciences! It was perfect! You will love Tori and this venue!

It was such a pleasure to work with the staff at the Museum of Arts and Sciences. They were always available to answer all of our questions. The West Wing is where we had our wedding and for our small wedding of 65 people, it was big enough for the ceremony and the reception. They worked well with our vendors and were affordable for our budget. Our guests also had so much fun and they have so many different options to select when deciding on a location to host your wedding.

This venue was absolutely perfect for our fall wedding. We wanted to have the ceremony and the reception in the same location with plenty of parking and this facility accommodated all of our guests comfortably. The museum was already naturally beautiful so there was minimal need for additional decor except for centerpieces for our reception tables. Tori was amazing to work with in regards to helping to coordinate with our vendors and communicating with us. She went above and beyond to help make sure our day went perfectly. We would highly recommend this venue.

Having our wedding ceremony and reception at the Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art was a wonderful experience! Tori made the planning process go very smoothly because she was extremely helpful. She readily shared her knowledge about local vendors and also decor/planning ideas for the event. We couldn't have pulled the night off without her.
The venue was gorgeous and helped to make decorating a lot easier. There are very few beautiful buildings or places to have a wedding in the Daytona Beach area, but thankfully this museum was built in time for our big day. I love the architecture and love that it helped to add to the quality and mood of our celebration.

When deciding on a venue for our Dreams Soar: Global Flight for STEM 'Mission Accomplished' return celebration, it just made sense to work with Tori Carta and her team incorporating the 'ARTS' into our STEM program. The event went off with a bang, everyone loved the venue, Nevin, the docent, was made available for VIP tours, the catering was perfect from the amazing Chef Tom Papa, space was just what we needed and furthermore, the MOAS staff, understanding of our stressful time making this event work on such a shoestring budget, did not even blink to partner and support our effort. We also had the effects of hurricane IRMA on our vendors, yet this MOAS staff still ensured our event would not be affected. We are so grateful, pleased and more than satisfied with the service, support and collaborative team effort delivered by MOAS. I cannot wait to host a future event here!

Working with Freddie was absolutely amazing! We were able to email or call her anytime we had questions or concerns, and she always responded quickly. The day of our wedding she was more than amazing! She made sure everything was in place as we asked, and before we could turn around to ask about something, she was right there with an answer. She's magical! The Museum offers several amazing areas for photos and was so great in helping us achieve our dream. We choose the Train Station and it was the first-ever ceremony and reception done in the same location. It went off without a hitch! They have several different options to choose from to make your day special and all the staff was so helpful. Freddie was the most amazing wedding coordinator and helped our day be as wonderful as we wanted it!

Panheads Catering loves to work with the staff at the Museum of Arts & Science not only cause they help make every event run perfect, but also the venue is amazing. There is a perfect ambiance for any occasion, with state of the art lighting and sound not to mention the art on the walls. The staff there is very accommodating as well.
