Event Description

Florida’s ecosystems have been irreversibly changed by a large number of invasive species, including, lionfish, sour oranges, air potato vines, and brown Cuban Anoles. Join MOAS Interpretation Specialist, John Herman, at the entrance to Tuscawilla Preserve at the Museum of Arts & Sciences, as he discusses the challenges Florida’s ecosystems face, invasive species prevention, and the difference between “invasive” and “exotic” species.
